Volunteer Photographer Wanted!
Love capturing the beauty of nature and the energy of the city? SPNA is looking for a volunteer photographer to help us showcase our park through regular photos of its wildlife, flowers, plants, squirrels, birds, visitors, dogs, and community events.
The Stuyvesant Park Neighborhood Association (SPNA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the Stuyvesant Square neighborhood of Manhattan. Our mission is to maintain and improve local parks, playgrounds, and other recreational spaces, protect the neighborhood’s residential character, and support community improvement initiatives. We work closely with local and state authorities to address issues affecting our community and are committed to preserving historic buildings, monuments, and landmarks. Through volunteer efforts, advocacy, and careful stewardship of resources, SPNA aims to enrich the neighborhood while easing the burden on city services.
As our volunteer photographer, you will be added as a member of the SPNA Communications and Community Outreach Committee and work closely with the committee chair. Your photos will be featured in our weekly newsletter, social media channels (Instagram, Facebook), and website, with full credit and links to your social media—a great way to build your portfolio while supporting a local non-profit.
