Descripción
- Represents the club in relations with governmental organizations, US and international organizations, alumni, and representatives of professional communities
- Attends all external meetings by the governmental organizations, US and internationalorganizations, alumni, and representatives of professional communities
- Calls for the general body meetings of the Association and executive body meetings
- Leads executive board meetings and general body meetings or delegates this to other members of the board
- Runs elections
- Develops and approves the social media campaigns in coordination with Social Media Chair and other officers
- Uses Association's social media resource to conduct his/her/their activity
- Legally registers the organization when needed
- May propose the creation of any other chair position as needed if at least 50%+1 vote of the SUSTA general body supports
- Stays informed of all legal policies regarding the Association's activity
- Coordinates efforts of other officers to maintain a good reputation of the Association and its members
- Resolves internal conflicts in e-board and between e-board and members
- May initiate fundraisers, meetings with diaspora, and forums with other cultural groups and communities
- With Treasurer, organizes the club budget
- President delegates his/her/their responsibilities to Vice Presidents and other officers upon need
- Assumes the role of other e-board officers if the position becomes vacated
- Organizes the club's google drive, and keeps meeting minutes during meetings or delegates this to other e-board members
- Keeps track of all committees and subgroups within the organization
