Resilience offers unpaid internship programs that require at least a 6 month commitment with a minimum of 7-10 hours per week. There are flexible start and end dates with the option to continue after meeting the minimum requirement
Although this is an unpaid internship, there is the opportunity to earn school credit. Some educational institutions require prior approval before the start of an internship. It is the responsibility of the student to check with their institution to be sure they meet any requirements before they accept a position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Leadership Development Director Volunteer who is a strong English speaker and possesses leadership experience in the professional or academic world. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our Training and Leadership Development division. They will collaborate with various departments to create training materials and resources focused on building resilience. The director will lead a team in the development of training materials, including videos, guides, and other resources, ensuring that every employee has the necessary tools to excel in their roles. Additionally, the director will work closely with Project Managers to align goals and objectives set by the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Training and Leadership Development Division.
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop and maintain training materials.
- Manage the creation of training content, including guides, scripts, and videos.
- Delegate tasks and monitor project progress to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate distribution of training materials to staff members.
- Conduct regular meetings with Project Managers to align division goals with organizational objectives.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Stay informed about best practices and trends in training, leadership development, and organizational learning.
- Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous leadership, project management, or team coordination experience preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and delegation abilities.
- Experience creating training materials and educational content.
- Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Minimum commitment of 7–10 hours per week.
