ACH's Mentoring Initiative is a network of supportive volunteers that helps young people aging out of foster care by providing a sense of belonging and connection. Volunteer mentors build relationships by participating in group events and activities with teens and young adults at ACH Child and Family Services.
If you are: easy-going and friendly, patient and reliable, a good listener and willing to get out of your comfort zone, you can make a difference for young people aging out foster care!
Mentoring groups meet twice per month on alternating Tuesdays from 7-9 pm in Fort Worth. Volunteers must be at least 25 years old, able to pass a full background check and drug screen, and commit for a minimum of one year.
