Afternoon Pantry Prep Volunteer - Indian Trail

Work alongside our Pantry Manager and fellow volunteers to prepare food for distribution at one of Common Heart’s Evening Pantry events. Tasks may include organizing food items, packing bags or boxes, and ensuring everything is ready for our neighbors. Gloves are provided for safe handling of food and some light lifting may be involved. If prep work is completed early, volunteers may be asked to help tidy and organize the pantry area.
Volunteers must wear closed-toed shoes for safety and are advised to dress comfortably to be physically active in whatever the outside temperature is the day they serve. The pantry area is enclosed, but not climate controlled.
This opportunity is available every Monday - Friday 3pm - 5pm.
