At The Care Team Hospice, our volunteers provide one of the greatest gifts imaginable: time, presence, and compassion. As a Companionship Volunteer, you’ll visit patients to offer comfort, a listening ear, and the simple joy of human connection. Visits may include talking, reading, playing games, listening to music, sharing hobbies, or simply sitting quietly so no one feels alone.

You don’t need medical experience—just a caring heart and a willingness to be present. Volunteers receive full training and ongoing support from our team. Even a few hours a month can make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families.
