Job Overview
The Program Development Coordinator is a focused volunteer role that supports the smooth execution of VPMMA's internal and community-facing programs. This position ensures that program materials are organized and that virtual events are professionally supported, directly contributing to the mission of assisting the military community in their career transitions.
Key Responsibilities (3–5 Hours/Week)
- Virtual Event Support (1.5–2 hours): Serve as a moderator, timekeeper, or breakout room lead during scheduled virtual workshops or community sessions. Assist in preparing basic event materials, such as slide decks and feedback forms.
- Administrative Resource Maintenance (1 hour): Help maintain a user-friendly resource library by organizing files within Google Drive and ensuring program templates remain polished and accessible.
- Team Sync & Feedback (30mins –60 mins):
- Participate in a brief weekly team check-in to provide status updates.
- Collect and organize engagement data from program activities to share with the Deputy Director.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, and Meet).
- Comfortable supporting or facilitating virtual events using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and effective communication skills for collaborating with a remote team.
