The African American Women Trucking Association (AAWTA) is a national nonprofit advancing equity, workforce development, and entrepreneurship in the trucking, logistics, and supply chain industry.
We are launching an internship cohort to support the expansion and visibility of two flagship initiatives:
- Marketplace 2.0 Advantage Hub – a national partner and member benefits platform
- Driven Together Education Program – workforce training and career pathways
We are seeking a motivated Web Application Developer Intern to support key technology-based initiatives, including Suitdash build-outs and web/app development projects such as Marketplace 2.0 and job boards. This internship offers hands-on experience building and enhancing real-world applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Intern include:
- Assist in the development and enhancement of web and application features for platforms such as Suitdash, Marketplace 2.0, and job boards.
- Support configuration, customization, and integration of technology tools and workflows.
- Collaborate with designers, product, and technical teams to implement user-friendly solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues, test features, and help maintain application performance and reliability.

Commitment
- Remote / Virtual
