Volunteer from Home! Become a Circle of Care Caller.

Would you like to be part of the Circle of Care that AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care provides to our patients and their loved ones? We are in need of volunteers to assist with weekly check-in phone calls, during the daytime and early evening on Wednesday and Thursdays (you call at your own pace/schedule). You'll be checking in on the needs of our patients and their loved ones who live in their own homes or assisted living facilities.

In addition to required volunteer training and screening, a desire and commitment to help, with a willingness to listen is all that is required. You will call to check-in to see if the patient and/or their loved ones need any additional medicine, supplies, or support from our hospice team. These calls can be made from home (or from our office in Columbia). You must have a windows based computer to document your calls.
