Spread Holiday Cheer: Toys for Tots Event Setup & Distribution Volunteer

Join Journey to Healing for a special day of holiday giving as we welcome families and help make our Toys for Tots distribution event a warm, joyful, and memorable experience. We expect to serve approximately 200 families during this evening event, which will take place during the first week of December.

We are looking for compassionate volunteers who are willing to lend a helping hand before and during the event. Whether you assist with setting up the space, welcoming families, distributing toy bags, or supporting both setup and event activities, your time and kindness will help create a welcoming environment where families feel valued, and children can experience the joy of the season.

Volunteer responsibilities may include:

• Arranging tables, chairs, and family check-in and pickup stations
• Organizing toy bags for smooth and timely distribution
• Preparing children's coloring and activity areas
• Decorating the space with festive holiday touches
• Posting signs and helping direct families
• Welcoming and checking in families as they arrive
• Assisting with toy-bag distribution
• Sharing information about Journey to Healing's programs and services
• Cleaning and restoring the space after the event
