Kitchen Support to help feed the community

Help feed families in need! Roberti Community House is looking for people who love working in the kitchen, creating new dishes and otherwise feeding nutrient dense food to food insecure families in Lake County.

Every week we rescue almost 1000 lbs of fresh meat, dairy, fruit and vegetables and, in turn, create nutritious meals for over 500 people. Our volunteers help with receiving, storing and processing our raw ingredients; planning menus; creating meals and delivering to our partners. All are invited to come help feed the community!

A short orientation is required to work in the kitchen and training is ongoing as we discover new foods, food combinations and flavors.
