Providence Home Health & Hospice is looking for compassionate volunteers who would like to share their faith through friendship, prayer, and encouragement.
Many of our patients would love someone to:
📖 Read the Bible with them
🙏 Pray with them
❤️ Visit and provide companionship
🎵 Share hymns or devotional readings
🤝 Offer comfort and encouragement
No medical experience is needed. We provide training and support.
📍 Our office is located at Harry & Webb in Wichita, and we serve patients within a 60-mile radius of Wichita. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the area, and we work with your preferred travel distance.

📍 Our office is located at Harry & Webb in Wichita, but we serve patients throughout a 60-mile radius surrounding Wichita. Volunteers are assigned based on their preferred travel area, and opportunities are available in Wichita and many surrounding communities.

Volunteer Application Process
Complete an Application Stop by our office Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, to complete a volunteer application.
Interview with the Volunteer Coordinator We'll discuss your interests, availability, and the volunteer opportunities that best fit your gifts and goals.
Background Screening Complete the required Kansas background check and adult abuse registry screening.
TB Testing Provide documentation of a current TB test or complete the required testing process.
Volunteer Training Attend hospice volunteer training to learn about our patients, services, and volunteer role.
Shadowing Experience Accompany an experienced volunteer on visits to gain confidence and experience.
Receive Your Assignment We'll match you with patients or volunteer opportunities that fit your interests, schedule, and preferred travel area.
Begin Making a Difference Start serving patients and families through companionship, faith-based visits, tuck-in calls, office support, or other volunteer opportunities.
