Fountain Square Neighborhood Tree Planting: Harlan St and Villa Ave

Interested in making a positive impact on your community that will last years? Sign-up to join the Community Forestry team to plant 120 native trees and add to the urban tree canopy in the Christian Park neighborhood! With your help, the trees we plant will bring the benefits of cleaner air, carbon mitigation, and stormwater retention to Indianapolis communities. The tree planting demonstration will begin at 9:05am the latest, please be sure to arrive to find parking ahead of the start time to ensure you learn how to properly plant a tree.

Safety: We highly recommend wearing weather-appropriate clothing and close-toed shoes. We always recommend bringing a reusable water bottle but we will have disposable cups available if needed. KIB will provide tools and gloves.
