Fundraising Volunteer

We are a newly established, locally registered NGO in Tanzania driven entirely by volunteer teams and technical experts. We have already developed several high-impact project proposals and are now seeking experienced fundraising professionals to help us mobilize the resources needed to bring these initiatives to reality. Our work focuses on reaching marginalized and remote communities through three core interventions;

• Deploying medical volunteers to underserved health facilities
• Delivering community health outreaches and medical camps
• Promoting community health insurance for vulnerable populations

Volunteer Position: Fundraising Volunteer – International

Organization: We Volunteer Tanzania Initiative (WVTI)

Location: Remote

Duration: 3–6 Months (Unpaid)

Role Overview

WVTI is seeking a motivated Fundraising Volunteer to support international donor engagement for several new projects planned for 2026–2028. The ideal candidate is passionate about social impact and has experience with fundraising or proposal development.

Responsibilities:

• • Conduct donor research and mapping for project proposals.
  • Develop engagement strategies and outreach plans.
  • Refine project proposals to meet donor requirements.
  • Coordinate proposal submissions and track donor feedback.
  • Support online fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
  • Report on progress of donor engagement activities.

Qualifications:

• • Demonstrated experience in fundraising or donor engagement.
  • Strong communication and proposal writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Motivation to volunteer for social impact.
  • Relevant training or certification is an advantage.
