Thrift Shop Volunteer

Volunteers at Flying Pig Thrift assist throughout the store from sorting and pricing donations, arranging merchandise and window displays, helping with light housekeeping like sweeping and dusting, and helping customers at the registers. One benefit of being a volunteer is that you get a first look at the unique and interesting donations; another benefit is that Volunteers receive a 25% store discount on purchases; another benefit can be alighing your values with the store's Mission. Volunteers typically come in for a 4-hour shift once a week. We'd love to have you join Flying Pig's friendly and welcoming group of Volunteers! Each day at the store is different than the day before because we never know what the next donation will bring us! Come by the store to meet us, check out the treasures waiting to find a new home, and let us welcome you. We hope you'll decide to volunteer and have fun with us!

• Help open the store; assist at registers; sort/price donations; make window displays; general store tidying. (11:00 to 2:30 pm CST)
• Assist customers; sort/price donations; general store tidying; assist with closing the store. (2:30 to 6:00 pm CST)
