🐾 Volunteer as a Dog Walker — Give Our Dogs Exercise, Socialization & Their Best Chance at Adoption!

At Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue, our teen and adult dogs need more than just a spot at adoption events — they need movement, interaction, and the chance to show their amazing personalities. That's where Dog Walkers make all the difference.

🐶 What You'll Do

• Fit dogs with harnesses and "adopt me" vests to get them ready for their big day
• Walk dogs around the store, giving them vital exercise and helping them stay calm and happy during events
• Facilitate socialization with potential adopters and the public, letting each dog's unique personality shine
• Set up event kennels with proper labeling so fosters can easily transition dogs from cars to their designated spaces
• Assist with end-of-event loading to ensure all remaining dogs get safely back to their foster homes

📍 Where & When

• Where: PetCo, 4100 E. Colorado Blvd., Denver (weekly) and PetSmart, 10600 Melody Drive, Northglenn (a few times a month)
• When: Saturdays, 12:00–3:00 pm (3-hour commitment)
