Hollywood PAL is committed to supporting low-income youth in the Hollywood Community. By volunteering, you become a beacon of hope for these amazing kids. Hollywood PAL drives positive change in the community we serve by partnering with LAPD and school- aged youth in programs that celebrate diversity, equity, inclusion and inspire personal excellence, social awareness, and civic engagement.

What's Required:

• Commitment: Available to meet twice a week for one-hour sessions
• Subjects' expertise: Proficient and confident in the subject you will be tutoring
• Motivation: A genuine interest and passion in helping students succeed academically and further their skills in the subjects they are struggling with
• Communication Skills: Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt an effective teaching style/ plan to meet the needs of the student. Ability to communicate effectively with tutoring coordinator

Tutoring Details:

Flexible Hours: Mondays to Thursdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm |

On-Site Location: 5824 Santa Monica Blvd

Kids: Grades kindergarten to 12th
