GRAPHIC DESIGN SPECIALIST - Professional Volunteer

Overview:

We are seeking a creative, meticulous Graphic Design Specialist, Professional Volunteer to join our Communications & Marketing team and take ownership of our visual identity. You will translate our complex, multi-pillar initiatives into clean, high-production digital assets that drive donor acquisition, volunteer recruitment, and event attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design compelling marketing materials and campaign assets.
• Produce high-quality templates, thumbnails, title cards, and other short-form branding materials for our continuous monthly media rollouts.
• Collaborate with our leadership team to design professional, high-end pitch decks targeted at securing sponsors.
• Ensure all digital graphics comply with the finalized SYH Brand Style Guide across Instagram, YouTube, EventBrite, and our official website.
• Maintain a hyper-organized, shared Google Drive asset locker of editable source files (.PSD, .AI, or Canva Teams links).

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) or advanced mastery of Canva Teams frameworks.
• Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, color theory, and digital formatting layout standards.
• A genuine passion for utilizing design to address mental health, humanize the displaced community, and champion environmental sustainability.
