Job Title: Workshop Promotion Team
Purpose
Be part of a team of volunteers publicizing and promoting Emergency Prep Help's free public workshops throughout Sonoma County.
Location
Remote with some travel required for posting flyers.
Key Responsibilities
Write/edit and post press releases and announcements in newspapers, newsletters, and other print or digital channels.
Write/edit and send public service announcements to radio stations.
Email flyers to EPH's community partners, businesses, and other organizations and contacts, to distribute to their communities.
Work alone or manage other volunteers to post paper flyers at businesses, government offices, libraries, community centers, senior centers, cafes and other community hubs.
Send workshop flyers/announcements to EPH's Social Media Mgr for posting (Facebook and Instagram).
Time Commitment and Frequency: 1-3 hours per week
Qualifications: Media or PR experience would be helpful
Reports to: Operations Manager
