Descripción
AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate, patient volunteers to help brighten the lives of our patients.
Volunteers provide comfort through companionship; talking, listening, playing music from your phone, holding their hand, and most of all, creating a connection to help patients feel less alone.
Current Primary Needs: Men, Knitting/Crochet
You Are:
- Compassionate
- Patient active listener
- Care about the experience and wellbeing of elderly and terminal patients
We Provide:
- Comprehensive Hospice volunteer training that is flexible to meet your schedule
- Background Check & Health Screening
Commitment:
- 1 patient assignment (more allowed over time per vol preference)
- Visit 2-4 times a month
- Visits average 60min each
