Volunteer at The Tech Interactive!

The Tech Interactive’s Adult Volunteer Program offers meaningful opportunities to support hands-on STEM learning in the heart of downtown San José. Through the Volunteer Innovator Program (VIP), adults 18 and older play a vital role in inspiring the innovator in everyone by engaging guests, facilitating exhibits, supporting visitor services, and assisting with special events. No science or technology background is required—just enthusiasm, curiosity, and a desire interact with the public to help others learn.

VIP Commitment:

• Attend a 3-hour orientation with museum tour and training
• Serve a minimum of two shifts per month for six months (~3 hour shifts, afternoons preferred)
• Options for after hours special events
• You can sign up for your own shifts and manage your own schedule!

Eligibility:

• Complete a short 20 minute phone screen
• Background check - free, confidential, secure, online and quick
