River Watch volunteers monitor the health of Minnesota River tributary streams — collecting water samples, surveying stream life, and building the long record that shows whether the river is healing. Friends of the Minnesota Valley runs the program with trained team leaders; no science background needed, just waders-worthy enthusiasm. Seasonal field days, roughly monthly.
