Tyler’s Way Foundation is seeking reliable, friendly, and mission-driven volunteers to support our Cupid’s Corner Galentine’s Day Mixer—a professional networking event for business owners, educators, caregivers, advocates, and professionals who work with children with special needs.
This event is designed to foster collaboration, connection, and community impact. Volunteers play a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and engaging experience for all attendees.
Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Event Setup & Breakdown
• Assist with room setup, signage, registration tables, and décor
• Support breakdown and cleanup after the event
Check-In & Guest Support
• Welcome guests and assist with check-in
• Direct attendees to networking areas, refreshment stations, and programming spaces
• Provide general event information as needed
Networking & Program Support
• Support guided networking activities
• Assist facilitators with materials and transitions
• Help direct attendees to Round Table Program sign-up areas
Refreshment Support
• Assist with light bites and mocktail stations
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of food areas
Media & Engagement Support
• Assist with photos and short video clips (if applicable)
• Encourage attendee participation and engagement
• Support social media-friendly moments during the event
Volunteer Requirements
• Comfortable interacting with professionals and community members
• Professional, friendly, and dependable
• Ability to stand and move throughout the event
• Interest in community work, networking, and advocacy preferred
Volunteer Perks

Volunteer Shift Times
Setup Shift: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Event Shift: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Breakdown Shift: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
(Volunteers may select one or multiple shifts.)

Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Event Setup (Arrival: 10:00 AM)
• Mocktail and refreshment station setup
• Seating and flow preparation
Check-In & Guest Experience
• Direct guests to designated areas
• Answer basic event questions
Program & Networking Support
• Support Round Table Program sign-ups and information distribution
• Help manage transitions during the agenda
Refreshment Support
• Maintain cleanliness and restocking as needed
Media & Engagement Support
• Encourage engagement while respecting attendee boundaries
Breakdown & Cleanup
Volunteer Shift Commitment
Setup: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Event Support: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Breakdown: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Volunteers may commit to one or multiple shifts; setup volunteers must arrive at 10:00 AM sharp.
