Farmers Market Outreach Volunteer Position

Overview:

Join Grow Further as a Farmers Market Outreach Volunteer and help spread the word about sustainable agriculture and global food security! You’ll represent Grow Further at local farmers markets in your area, engaging with the public using ready-made flyers, and handouts designed to spark interest and conversation.

As a volunteer, you’ll help educate others about our work funding innovative farming projects that increase crop yields, nutrition, and incomes for smallholder farmers.

Time Commitment: Weekends, 2–4 hours per shift (flexible schedule)

Location: Any place with accessibility to Local Farmer’s Market

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up a Grow Further booth at your local farmers market
• Engage with the public and share information about our mission
• Distribute educational flyers and display the materials provided
• Collect sign-ups or interest from those who want to get involved

Qualifications:

• Passionate about food justice, climate resilience, and sustainable farming
• Comfortable talking to strangers and representing a cause
• Access to local farmers markets or similar community events
