Board Member

D.O.S.E. Impact Lab is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging gaps in STEM education, oral health literacy, and healthcare career exposure for youth and underserved communities. Currently seeking board and advisory members who will be actively involved in providing strategic leadership, ensuring strong governance, and advancing the organization's mission. Responsibilities include attending regular board meetings, advising on organizational policies, fundraising, and building partnerships to support the organization's programs and initiatives. The Board Member will also represent the organization across various community engagements, mentor leadership teams, and evaluate program effectiveness to align with the organization's long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, governance, and organizational oversight experience
• Expertise in fundraising, partnership building, and donor engagement
• Background in education, public health, STEM, or nonprofit leadership is preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and the mission of expanding access to education and health resources
• Ability to allocate time for board meetings, events, and mentorship responsibilities
• Experience working with underserved communities and a passion for driving positive social impact
• Experience in strategic planning and data-informed decision-making is advantageous
