Pet Therapy Volunteer needed to brighten the days of people on hospice.

Compassionate Care Hospice in Bedminster is asking for volunteers with certified, licensed and well behave therapy pets to visit our end-of-life patients. The presence of animals heals our hearts; brings back memories of all those special companions we have had throughout our lives. Simple petting or snuggling of animals brings calm and quiet connection. Sometimes animals understand what we need better than humans.
If this type of volunteering speaks to you, we would love to have you. Sometimes the visits are in homes and sometimes you can see a few patients in a facility. We promise that the smiles you collect will fill your cup full of joy.
We just ask that you are over 18, in US and go through our volunteer training as well as a background check and some health information.
