Volunteer for the 2026 New York International Children's Film Festival!

New York International Children’s Film Festival is back, bringing the best new films from around the world to NYC kids and families—and we want you to be a part of the team!

NYICFF volunteers are the heart of the Festival. From welcoming excited guests to helping events run smoothly, our volunteers are what make the Festival experience unique for families. If you’re passionate about sharing diverse, culturally-rich stories with the next generation of film lovers, join us for the weekends of February 27–March 1, March 7–8, and March 14–15 at venues across NYC.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Ticket scanning
• Welcoming guests
• Distributing and collecting Festival ballots
• Selling merchandise and snacks at select venues
• Interacting with guests, such as young children, parents, and filmmakers!

Volunteer Requirements:

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be available for at least three (3) shifts during the Festival and attend our volunteer orientation session.

As a volunteer, you'll get:

• The chance to see some great festival films—for free!
• A behind-the-scenes look at how a film festival comes together
• An official NYICFF T-Shirt
• Snacks
• A chance to work with fellow film enthusiasts!
