Calling All Therapy Dog Owners!

Do you have a certified therapy dog with a warm heart and a gentle spirit?

We are inviting therapy dog owners to join our HopeHealth team of hospice volunteers, bringing comfort and companionship to patients in nursing homes and residences across Massachusetts.

Our patients often find that a visit from a therapy dog brings an instant smile, raises their spirits, and provides a calming, joyful presence that few things can match. If you and your therapy dog have some time to give, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those receiving hospice care.

We’re looking for certified therapy dogs with experience in offering gentle companionship, and owners who are compassionate and comfortable working with patients in different stages of life. Visits are flexible and can be scheduled at times that work best for you.
