We need your help in & around Kirksville, MO! - Become a Red Cross Disaster Responder!

Be the best part of someone's worst day! If you'd like to learn cutting-edge training and be the face of the Red Cross in your areas, then this position is for you! You must have transportation, be comfortable learning online and have a telephone.

Respond on-scene with other Red Cross volunteers to house fires (or other local disasters) to provide resources, comfort, and hope to the family members who have been affected. All training is done online and must be comfortable with learning online, have a computer and a telephone.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Valid United States driver’s license
• Safe driving record
• Training provided both online courses and hands-on with experienced volunteers​​​​​​​
• Online application (see below for instructions)
• Weekdays and weekends available - fires do not tell time
• Choose when you are available to be on call
