Army Pink is seeking a skilled video editor and storyteller to help shape a powerful 60–90 second public service announcement that shares our mission and our Pathway to Freedom rides program.
This project does not require filming. We’re looking for someone who enjoys shaping stories through editing and can work with provided materials — such as recorded voiceover or on-camera footage, brand assets, text, and/or stock visuals — to create an emotionally grounded PSA for social platforms.
The heart of this work is storytelling. The focus is on pacing, tone, clarity, and restraint. The finished piece should feel human and real, not like an advertisement or a traditional nonprofit explainer. The story centers on why safe transportation is often the missing link when someone is trying to leave a dangerous situation, and how Army Pink exists to help close that gap.
Sensitivity is essential. This PSA addresses domestic violence awareness, and we are intentional about avoiding dramatization, reenactments, or graphic imagery. The right collaborator understands how to communicate urgency with care, dignity, and respect.
The deliverable is one finished 60–90 second vertical video, optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, with captions.
This is a volunteer opportunity for someone who believes in the power of storytelling to create real-world impact. We welcome editors and creators who want to contribute their skills to a project that helps people access safety and freedom when it matters most. Please share examples of short-form storytelling, PSA-style work, or cause-driven projects if available.
If you’re drawn to meaningful work and want to help tell a story that can truly make a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Army Pink!
