Veteran Volunteers Needed – Honor Fellow Veterans

Help us honor those who served.

Hospice is looking for veteran volunteers to assist with Veteran Pinning Ceremonies for hospice patients who served in the military.

During these ceremonies we recognize a veteran’s service, present a small American flag pin, and thank them for their sacrifices.

Veteran volunteers may:

Participate in veteran recognition ceremonies

• Present a flag pin and certificate

• Share a few words of appreciation

• Spend time visiting with fellow veterans

Many veterans say it is one of the most meaningful volunteer opportunities they have experienced.

Training and support are provided.
