Role Description
The TheoRose Center, Inc. is seeking an energetic Volunteer Board Fundraising Chair to lead our donor acquisition and fundraising strategies. You will design campaigns, organize digital events, and cultivate individual and corporate donors to diversify our revenue streams, ensuring we can provide long-term life skills training to families in need. This is a fully remote position requiring a maximum commitment of 10 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Fundraising Strategy: Develop and execute an annual fundraising plan, including digital campaigns, major donor outreach, and special events.
- Donor Cultivation: Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, businesses, and community sponsors.
- Board Engagement: Motivate and guide fellow board members in their personal fundraising and outreach efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Background in fundraising, sales, marketing, event planning, or public relations.
- Skills: Strong networking, digital communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment: Ability to attend remote meetings and dedicate up to 10 hours maximum per month.
The TheoRose Center, Inc., aims to provide comprehensive case management, training, and referral services to financially disadvantaged youths and their families. The objective is to help this population escape the bonds of poverty and homelessness by providing referrals for housing, medical, mental health, and back-to-school opportunities, as well as training and life skills that will empower them to successfully move into the mainstream of society. We need volunteers for the board (need treasurer, grant writer and fundraiser)
