Chard Your Yard Garden Bed Build and Install

We are installing 50 units of raised garden beds for our neighbors in the 55406 area to encourage More Growing and Less Mowing. On Install Days, we will build the garden beds and then fill them with about 25 5 gallon buckets of soil. No prior experience is necessary. There are tools that are always appreciated such as drills and buckets but not mandatory. We do use vehicles to transport dirt in 5 gallon buckets and wood to gardener's homes but if you don't have a vehicle, you can still volunteer and we will match you up with a team that has a vehicle. Install Days are Saturday April 25th and May 2nd with a morning shift and afternoon shift (9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm). Tacos and snacks provided on Install Day! All of the volunteer activities take place in the South Minneapolis neighborhoods of Greater Longfellow, Seward, Standish, Ericcson, and Corcoran.
