Weekly Bingo Host - Framingham, MA

Program Summary: We are looking for a volunteer to lead a weekly bingo game at our Shillman Campus. We are searching for a volunteer who is social, confident to facilitate the game, and interested in building relationships with older adults.

Locations: Shillman House, 49 Edmands Rd, Framingham, MA 01701

Key responsibilities:

• Set up and facilitate bingo game
• Assist residents during the game as needed
• Encourage others to join and to come back each week

Impact Goal: The intent of the program is to promote social connections and cultivate a sense of community for residents.

Qualifications:

• Comfort working with older adults
• Familiar with the rules of bingo and able to facilitate the game
• Sociable and engaging
• Flexibility, patience and a good sense of humor

Time Commitment: Weekly on Mondays at 2:15 for 60-90 minutes
