I’m excited to share an opportunity to be part of something truly special with Academy of Hope.
On Saturday, April 25, 2026, we will host the Stride for Hope 5K & Homecoming Festival—a high-energy, community-centered celebration marking over 40 years of impact in adult education across Washington, DC.
We’re building a strong volunteer team to help bring this day to life—from early morning race operations to a full festival experience filled with performances, activations, and community engagement. This is a one-day opportunity to step in, support, and be part of a moment that celebrates growth, resilience, and connection.
