Are you looking for a way to enhance your resume, develop valuable skills, and give back to those in need? Join Elara Caring Hospice and earn your Advanced Hospice Volunteer Certification in just 40 hours of service!

Our Certified Advanced Hospice Volunteers gain hands-on experience across a minimum of two service categories, including:

✅ Patient Companionship - Offering emotional and social support

✅ Caregiver Respite - Giving caregivers a well-deserved break

✅ Healthcare Administration - Assisting with office tasks and coordination

✅ Bereavement Support - Providing comfort to grieving families

✅ Community Outreach - Engaging with the community to raise awareness

✅ Special Projects - Assisting hospice team members in the field or mentoring new volunteers

After completing 40 service hours, you’ll receive a certificate of achievement, a detailed service letter outlining your unique contributions, and a special token of appreciation from your Volunteer Coordinator.

Getting started is easy! You only need:

✔ Be 16 years of age or older

✔ Reliable transportation

✔ A valid Texas driver’s license or ID

✔ An open heart and mind
