Join the team behind one of Tracy’s biggest community celebrations! The Tracy 4th of July Fireworks Show is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a fun, safe, and memorable event for families across our community.
Volunteers may assist with:
- Event setup and breakdown
- Greeting and directing guests
- Kids Zone support
- Vendor and activity assistance
- Ticketing and entry support
- Monitoring event areas and keeping spaces clean
- General event support as needed
This is a great opportunity to give back to the community, meet new people, and be part of a patriotic celebration honoring America’s spirit and traditions. Volunteers should be dependable, friendly, and ready to work as part of a team in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
Event Date: July 4, 2026
Location: Lincoln Park, Tracy, CA
Volunteer Shifts: Flexible shifts available throughout the event

Volunteer Instructions – Tracy 4th of July Fireworks Show
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Tracy 4th of July Fireworks Show! Please review the instructions below to ensure a smooth and successful experience.
- Sign Up & Confirmation
- Complete the volunteer sign-up form in full.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your assigned role and shift time.
- If you do not receive confirmation within a few days, please follow up with the volunteer coordinator.
- Check-In on Event Day
- Arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled shift.
- Check in at the Volunteer Check-In Booth near the main entrance.
- You will receive:
- Your assigned role/location
- A brief safety overview
- Any necessary supplies or instructions
- Dress Code
- Wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor weather.
- Closed-toe shoes are encouraged for safety.
- If provided, wear your volunteer shirt or badge at all times.
- Bring sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses).
- Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from event staff and coordinators.
- Be courteous, helpful, and professional with guests.
- Stay in your assigned area unless directed otherwise.
- Report any safety concerns or issues immediately.
- Breaks & Hydration
- Water will be provided—stay hydrated throughout your shift.
- Breaks will be coordinated with your team lead.
- Please do not leave your post without notifying a coordinator.
- Safety First
- In case of emergency, follow directions from event staff immediately.
- Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and first aid stations.
- Do not engage in unsafe behavior or leave your assigned area unattended.
- Thank You & Wrap-Up
- At the end of your shift, check out with your coordinator.
- Volunteers are encouraged to stay and enjoy the fireworks show after completing their shift (if applicable).
