Donor Appreciation Call Volunteer

About the event

Play Like a Girl runs free programs for middle school girls in STEM and sport. Every program we deliver is funded by donors who believe in the mission. Donor appreciation calls are one of the most meaningful things we can do to retain those supporters and deepen their connection to our work. Volunteers in this role make thank-you calls and send emails to donors on behalf of Play Like a Girl. The impact is relational: a donor who hears a real person express gratitude is far more likely to give again, give more, and invite others to give. This role directly supports the financial sustainability of free programming for girls.

What will volunteers do?

Make thank-you calls and send emails to Play Like a Girl donors on behalf of the organization. You will use a provided script and contact list, share the impact of donor gifts, log call notes and feedback, and invite donors to stay connected to our community.

Comfort going off-script is a plus. All contact information, scripts, and talking points provided. Background check required before participation.
