Volunteer Opportunity: Meal Delivery Substitute Driver (Aliso Viejo)

Are you looking for a meaningful way to connect with your community and brighten someone's day?

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable substitute driver to join our team out of the Florence Sylvester Senior Center for our seniors in Aliso Viejo.

When you deliver a meal, you are delivering much more than food—you are providing a vital safety check and a cheerful, friendly connection for homebound seniors in our community who often cannot leave their homes.

The Commitment & Details

• 📍 Location: Florence Sylvester Senior Center (Aliso Viejo)
• 🗓️ Day: Fridays
• ⏰ Timeframe: Available between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Routes typically take only 1 to 1.5 hours to complete.
• 🚗 Role Type: Substitute Driver. We need reliable substitutes to cover for our regular drivers when they take time off. We will reach out when a regular driver is unavailable (aiming for advance notice whenever possible).

Requirements to Get Started

To ensure the safety of our clients and staff:

• You must be 18 years or older to drive.
• We require a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Completion of an online Volunteer Application & background check.

Note: Minors are welcome to accompany an adult driver with proper documentation on file.
