Would welcome a volunteer that can help with patient visits in the Garland, TX area. Several opportunities for those that are able to visit once a week and engage with our patients. Expectation is for growing a relationship that will bring companionship and socialization to the one you visit. Your possibilities are up to you as what can be done, we suggest games, puzzles, reading, going for a walk, sitting outside and enjoying the weather, engaging in craft ideas, whatever the patient is capable of doing and they might enjoy. We provide tools to help conversations and can provide small games and puzzles if needed.

Application will be sent to you once we make contact by email. We will schedule a time and place to meet for a proper interview (plan for about an hour), and if you prefer, I can supply the application at time of interview. You will need to provide a Driver's license or ID card, as well as Auto Insurance once we have agreed you want to move forward in the processing. We have an informal at home Orientation portion, a well as submitting to a background check, TB screening, and drug test (all paid by us), and then once completed, we will meet again for a recap and finalization of all Orientation information.
