Photographer Needed for Children with Facial Difference's Retreat

We are looking for someone who is moved to help us capture candid photos of our children and families with craniofacial differences in a beautiful, dignified, creative way. We want someone who is as enthusiastic as we are to celebrate the lives of our families!Living with a facial difference (sometimes called disfigurement) means living a life where you're always stared at, but rarely seen. We believe your work can help our children be seen and see themselves as beautiful!

• The event is being held at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress June 26-28, 2026.
• We'll have about 120-150 kids with facial differences in attendance, plus their families for a total of about 500 people.
• Asking for a donation of 2-4 hours shooting on location at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Orlando, Florida

REQUIREMENTS

• Driver's License Needed
• Background Check
• Asking for a donation of 2-4hrs photo shooting time minimum; multiple times/days appreciated
• There is a an application form, code of ethics, agreement, and background check required to volunteer.
• If you have any videography experience you are willing to share with us -- please do mention it in your email.

• The photos you capture can be provided to us as you see fit; no editing or finishing is required.
• You will be recognized and your business promoted during and after the event on our website, blog, and social media outlets.
• Additionally, we will use your photos in our graphics, newsletter (with 17K distribution) and promotional materials, because you can't find kids that look like our kids on stock photo sites.
• We will credit your work when we post or use the photos, either with a photo credit on socials or logo placement in our newsletter articles.
• You can cross-post mutually selected photos on your social media to showcase your work and volunteerism.

We need photographers to cover our highlight events. The event consists of:

• Educational Symposium
• Registration
• Kick-Off Dinner
• Group Meetups
• Talent Show
• Family Night + Entertainment
• Dinner/Dance

Required:

• Must have your own camera
• Complete the volunteer application and forms sent via email
• Sign an agreement of the above stated information, also sent via email
• Complete a background check, fees covered by CCAKids,
