Partnership Team Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new partnership and collaboration opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders and prospective organisations.
• Manage the partnership pipeline from initial engagement through to agreement and delivery.
• Develop partnership proposals, presentations and other engagement materials.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure partnership commitments are delivered effectively.
• Monitor partnership performance, outcomes and engagement.
• Maintain accurate records of partnership activities and opportunities.
• Support negotiations and ensure partnerships are aligned with Wekume's objectives.
• Represent Wekume professionally at meetings, networking events and external engagements.
• Identify opportunities to increase the value and impact of existing partnerships.
• Provide regular updates and reports on partnership activity, progress and outcomes.
• Contribute ideas and initiatives that strengthen Wekume's profile and network.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

• Experience in partnerships, business development, stakeholder engagement, relationship management or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
• Confident negotiating and influencing stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong commercial and strategic awareness.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable

• Experience managing strategic partnerships or key accounts.
• Experience working with corporate, community or third-sector organizations.
• Experience developing partnership proposals or securing new opportunities.
• Experience using CRM or partnership management systems.
• Understanding of partnership development, business development or fundraising.
