New Pathways for Youth serves youth who have experienced extreme poverty and at least 3 major childhood traumas such as abuse, neglect, mental illness, substance abuse in the home, and/or family member incarceration.
Despite their experiences, every young person has the qualities within themselves to discover renewed outlooks on life and realize the unwritten possibilities for their futures. With the help of 1:1 volunteer mentor, New Pathways guides youth in their exploration and growth. In partnership with volunteer mentors, New Pathways enables youth to reach incredible outcomes and break the cycle of poverty for their families.
We are actively recruiting adults to match with youth in NOVEMBER, but we are in the greatest need for MEN who are willing to step up to the challenge to be a positive force for the boys in our program. If you are a caring and committed adult and you're curious, please attend one of our weekly Mentor Introduction sessions on Zoom before October 24th to learn more. You can see all the dates and RSVP here: https://npfy.as.me/Mentor-Intro
We invite you to join us for a Mentor Introduction session, on Zoom, to learn all about the youth we serve, our program, and mentor commitments, screening, requirements, and support! Sign up today!
