Volunteer Title: Policy & Legislative Support Volunteer

Purpose:

Support Tigerlily’s advocacy at the local, state, and federal level by tracking legislation, preparing briefs, and assisting with coalition communications that influence health equity outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor pending health and cancer-related legislation
• Assist in drafting policy summaries and advocacy briefs
• Track congressional and state-level health initiatives
• Support coalition partner communications
• Assist in preparing talking points for leadership meetings and Hill Days
• Maintain organized policy tracking spreadsheets and documentation

Ideal Skills / Background:

• Public policy, political science, public health, or law students
• Strong writing and analytical skills
• Interest in health equity and legislative processes
• Detail-oriented and organized
