About us

Pretty With Purpose, Inc. is a nonprofit empowering young women through mentorship, leadership development, college and career readiness, workforce development, health and wellness, and community engagement. This role leads our Empowerment & Leadership Program, helping participants grow into confident, purpose-driven leaders.

What you will do

• Manage the program calendar for monthly workshops, mentoring sessions, service projects, guest speakers, and leadership activities
• Coordinate sessions on leadership, confidence, goal setting, healthy relationships, financial literacy, public speaking, and professional etiquette
• Bring together mentors, volunteers, schools, and Dallas-area community partners to deliver a welcoming, inclusive experience
• Help participants build personal development plans and practice teamwork, communication, and civic engagement
• Track participation, service hours, and outcomes such as confidence and leadership growth
• Gather participant feedback and recommend improvements
• Report progress and resource needs to the Director of Programs

Who you are

• Based in or near Dallas, TX, and able to attend in-person workshops and events
• Organized, dependable, and strong at follow-through and communication
• Skilled at juggling deadlines and keeping accurate records
• At ease working respectfully with teens, families, volunteers, and community partners
• Committed to confidentiality, youth safety, and appropriate boundaries
• Preferred, not required: experience in youth development, mentoring, leadership programming, community service, workshop coordination, or volunteer coordination

Commitment

Ongoing volunteer role, reviewed periodically. Hybrid, with planning and reporting done remotely and in-person attendance at approved workshops and events in the Dallas area. Hours are flexible and focused on deliverables, coordinated with your supervisor, the Director of Programs. Volunteers follow PWP policies on youth safety, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries, and make commitments on behalf of the organization only with authorization.
