Associates are expected to put in a minimum of 5 hours per week and be responsive to emails within 36 hours.
SUMMARY:
STW™ is seeking a multi-faceted digital marketing associate to lead the Marketing team’s Google Ads campaigns and analytics reporting. This position reports to the Associate Director of Marketing. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all STW™ Google Ads & SEM campaigns. You will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness, as well as driving website traffic and acquiring new leads for donors, volunteers, and water testing facilities. In addition, your analytical chops will help the Marketing team evaluate all digital campaigns to optimize our efforts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create & manage Google Ads campaigns & budget, and produce monthly reports
- Tracking, reporting, and analyzing website analytics
- Identify powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
- Make recommendations for new campaigns and ways to scale existing campaigns
- Executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, identifying trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
- Performing ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Collaborate with research associates to review & analyze competitor advertising
- Act as the marketing team’s SEO/SEM expert – this will include aiding in content development to optimize STW™ materials in search engine results, and offering assistance to other teams as needed
- Attend & contribute to weekly Marketing team meetings and other meetings as needed
- Complete the timesheet on a weekly basis
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent of at least 2 years full-time work experience)
- Experience working with nonprofits (Google Ad Grants in particular) is a plus
- Minimum 2 years experience with Google Ads
- Google AdWords Search Certification or Google AdWords Analytics Certification a plus
- Proven knowledge and expertise in digital marketing (SEO, SEM, and PPC) tactics and best practices
- Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills, experience using Google Analytics and Excel
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to identify and resolve problems
- Requires self-direction and must demonstrate excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department
- A positive, can-do attitude and interest in environmental/public safety work
