Make Your Mark on History: Restore Mighty Mo's Decks

Availability: M-F (3 hours between 8:30 am to noon)

Did you know that there is over an acre of teak on the Mighty Mo? In this volunteer position, you will be helping to restore her historic deck. You will be embedded in and working alongside the Engineering team dedicated to preserving America’s Last Battleship, learning the intensive restoration process first-hand.

Requirements/Tasks:

• Three-hour shift on weekdays M-F (Pre-scheduled between 8:30 am to noon)
• Once-a-week commitment
• Removing teak (using an electric drill, hammers, and other tools)
• Clean, carry and store teak
