Outreach, Marketing, Networking with Latino Organization

We are a small local nonprofit organization with several community programs that focus on health, education, English/Spanish language acquisition and Latino cultural awareness. We are currently looking for motivated and dynamic volunteers to support our programs via outreach and marketing. Ideal candidates would preferably be bilingual but it is not a requirement. And we will offer you some great perks in exchange!!

Our volunteers would be asked to assist with some of the following duties:

• active recruitment of Latinos for our programs
• assisting our organization in increasing our presence at community events
• coordination and outreach for our popular language exchange program
• upkeep of marketing efforts to promote our language classes
• administrative tasks assigned to track weekly progress of programs

This position would be ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the nonprofit sector, especially within the Latino community. Due to our needs for increased marketing of our programs, this position could also be mutually beneficial for a marketing student, young professional or student looking to increase their volunteer work experience. Additionally, those looking to improve or brush up their Spanish speaking skills, would have opportunities to engage and interact with Spanish speaking persons. Lastly, we are willing to negotiate some Spanish classes in exchange for services rendered.
