No One Dies Alone Volunteers needed at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center

The volunteer will extend caring concern to the patients by providing a reassuring presence at the bedside of a dying or critically ill patient who would otherwise be alone. Duties: Under the supervision of the Nursing Staff, volunteers will act as a compassionate companion by sitting with the patient, perhaps holding their hand, reading to them, and assisting in comfort measures as directed by the nurse.
