Welcome to Uplift Hospice!

Our uplifters team make a difference in our patients' lives every day. We appreciate the extra layer of love that our volunteers bring to them. We are looking for volunteers that love to serve our community with kindness and compassion. Our patients love to have fun, to talk about their day to day, play cards, color, enjoy a friendly companionship.

We have different Volunteer opportunities that you can help us fulfill our mission. You can visit our patients whatever they call home as a companionship, or come to do fun activities like crafts, painting playing bingo at our Group homes and facilities that we partnership with. Also, our office staff loves extra hands at the office to make sure our services are delivered smoothly.

Our schedule is flexible; you can volunteer as much as you are available. We ask for a commitment for at least 1 year and 8 hours a month. Uplift Hospice will cover all the expenses for onboarding process, such TB test, fingerprint clearance card.

We do have an orientation in person for about 2 hours. For the volunteers that will work with patients we do require to complete online training. All volunteers' files need to mirror employee files, we will need your Driver license, social security car, auto insurance policy and pass background check as well. You can attend the volunteer opportunity that is located near you.
